We're now officially a TCG store, which means we can now sell Magic: The Gathering products one week early from release date!
We're excited to announce that The GOAT Card Shop now has an official Pokémon League!
Starting every Saturday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM, we'll be hosting league play for trainers of all skill levels. To participate, you'll need a Pokémon Player ID - if you don't have one yet, simply register at pokemon.com. League registration helps us secure better allocations for pre-release products, so your participation directly benefits our entire community.
Our tournament schedule is now in full swing with regular tournaments and pre-release events! Prize packs are available and our allocations continue to grow with league participation - the more players who join, the better prizes we can offer everyone! Please continue to participate in our League challenges and pre-releases and help us grow the Pokémon community in this area!

What types of cards do you specialize in?
We specialize in Trading Card Games (TCGs) - specifically Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Lorcana, and Star Wars Unlimited. As an official WPN (Wizards Play Network) store, we get Magic products a week early and host sanctioned tournaments. We carry extensive sealed product inventory, thousands of organized singles, hundreds of graded cards, and offer custom deck building services. Whether you're into competitive play or collecting, we've got the TCG expertise and inventory to help you level up your game.
How do I know if my card is valuable enough to be auctioned?
Bring your card to our shop or send us images and descriptions for a free preliminary assessment.
Can I place items on consignment?
We don’t do consignment but we buy cards at 55% of what the cards value is for cash and 60% on trade-in.
Do you offer online purchasing options?
Yes! Browse our online shop through the links on our website! We feature singles, sealed products, and graded cards with secure checkout. You can also find select rare items on our auction platforms - check the shop links on the page to start browsing and purchasing from home!
How do I sign up for tournaments and league play?
For Pokémon League (Saturdays 2-4 PM), just show up with a Pokémon Player ID - click the "Get Your Pokémon ID" button if you need one. For Commander Night (Tuesdays and Fridays 5-7 PM) and other Magic tournaments, check our events page for specific times and registration links. All skill levels welcome!
Do you offer tournaments and events to help players improve their game?
Yes!, we host Commander Night on Tuesdays and Fridays from 4-6 PM, plus Pokémon League every Saturday from 2-4 PM! All skill levels welcome - our community helps new players improve through competitive play.
